A five star day!

light wind around midday so spent a couple of hours showing wife + brother in law the basics.

Wind picked up mid afternoon and stayed at force 4-5 for the next 4hrs.

Rigged an 8m sails and had a excellent time blasting back and forth across channel.

Tried a gybe at the end of almost every run - most ended up as flarve gybes but I was staying dry on most. Tried to take more speed into gybe and by the end was feeling totally comfortable when initiating the gybe at full speed. Noticed I was far more successful with gybes at the end of a starboard tack compared to port tack.

Need to work on gybe footwork + rig flip.

Could/should have rigged smaller sail & sailed flow 276 but was just having too much fun on Techno. Great session but made the fatal mistake of telling the wife it was better than sex!

Permannent smile on my face that evening despite enduring worst/most overpriced meal I've ever had at the italian restaurant in Aberdovey..... don't go there.
